SoftVue is a tomographic ultrasound imaging device that scans women’s breasts for the presence of masses. The system provides the operator with B-mode images with tomographic corrections for superior image quality. SoftVue is capable of simultaneously collecting and reconstructing multiple sound properties resulting in important new information that is not available from existing screening and diagnostic modalities. Currently, Delphinus is in late-stage development of a faster, more clinically sensitive SoftVue system. The new SoftVue system will embodie a number of advantages relative to other tomographic devices under development:
| · | The SoftVue technology has been designed to be both modular and scaleable for rapid scalability in performance and adaptability for expanded applications. Consequently, SoftVue will serve as a platform for future product development. | | · | It is also the only scanner with the ability to scan a patient without motion artifacts. This device is much faster than any other ultrasound tomographic scanner under development. | | · | |
"SoftVue is currently under development and has not received clearance from the FDA at this time"
